TERMS OF USE OF THE DIGITAL PLATFORM  CEREBRUM


The digital platform CEREBRUM operates exclusively and on behalf of the Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs-I.R.T.E.A. which reserves the exclusive use of the platform and the copyright on the way it operates, the data it provides and the philosophy of the content it uploads on the platform.

As a registered user i agree on the following:

  • I here state that the information i provide are true and accurate, if by any mean there is a change in my info I will contact the Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs-I.R.T.E.A. where I will inform them on the changes concerning my info.
  • With the registration and the activation of the account, the user agrees in following the present rules and requirements, and in the event of their changing.
  • With the registration, the user gives the right to the Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs-I.R.T.E.A. to preserve his personal data provided that the Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs-I.R.T.E.A. will not publish his personal data to third parties. Also the user accepts the right  of the Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs-I.R.T.E.A. to send e-mails to the user concerning any information  of the Digital Platform CEREBRUM.
  • The User accepts that the communication with the Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs-I.R.T.E.A. will be carried through e-forms and documents which he will be provided, in matters concerning his information and consent through this document. 
  • If by any means the user doesn't agree with the terms, he is obliged  in not using any service provided from the Digital Platform CEREBRUM which are provided www.cerebrum.gr . Every use of the services from the user is been regarded as consent to these terms. With every entry in the CEREBRUM there is a consent in the terms stated by the  Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs-I.R.T.E.A..
  • The Users state, through this Terms of Use, that they are over 18 years old when they register on the platform CEREBRUM. Underage users may access the DIGITAL PLATFORM with his parents of guardians consent. Their legal guardians or parents may allow underage users to use the CEREBRUM platform, under their constant watch and by taking full responsibility of the actions  of the underage user.
  • As a user I am solely  in charge of any mismanagement of the services provide, according to the e-mail sign up and the password. The username & password which i have in my possession are unique. I take every responsibility in using it and not publishing it at third parties, if published i solely take full responsibility of my actions. 
  • The Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs-I.R.T.E.A. will not take responsibility in for any use of ti's services which are an outcome of fail uses of the services, losing passwords.The Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs-I.R.T.E.A. reserves the right to terminate the provision of these services with out any legal restriction or decision.
  • The user from the moment he creates an account on the digital platform CEREBRUM is solely responsible for all actions taking part  through his personal account, therefore the user must show diligence in keeping safe his password.The Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs-I.R.T.E.A. suggests the users of CEREBRUM  to take precautions in order to avoid unauthorized access in their account, therefor the services provided. On the platform you have the chance to change your password. The Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs-I.R.T.E.A.suggest you memorize your password, avoid writing it down on places accessible to third parties. In any case you feel your code has been compromised  and an unauthorized entry in your account has occurred, change your code and immediately contact the Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs-I.R.T.E.A..  Please be advised in logging out from your account at the end of your browsing, in order to avoid an unauthorized entry from a third party.
  • The Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs-I.R.T.E.A. is not in charge or has responsibilities in matters concerning malfunctions of hardware or software elements, connectivity issues and issues which are attributed to third parties which will bring the deactivation of CEREBRUM for a brief moment.
  • The Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs-I.R.T.E.A. preserves the right to modify or change the terms of use without informing the users of the CEREBRUM. Some services of the platform may be eligible to extra terms or claims which will be provided through this terms, from services the user uses. The user is advised to review these terms frequently and review them with caution in any case of alteration. In any case the user disagree he is obliged to terminate the use of the CEREBRUM services.
  • The Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs-I.R.T.E.A. has the right to change the context , delete it , or postpone it's operation in it's attempt to upgrade it's services.
  • The use of the services of the digital platform CEREBRUM under no circumstances provides the user the ownership of any copyright in contrast with the services or the context it accesses.The content of CEREBRUM ,including text,news,graphs, pictures etc., is copyright of  the Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs-I.R.T.E.A. and is under the guidelines of the national and international guidelines concerning copyright. Every reproduction, publishing, copy,translation of the context of services of the digital platform CEREBRUM without written consent  from the Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs-I.R.T.E.A. is prohibited. Although partial copying in a personal computer,strictly, for personal use , with no intention for commercial use, can be used only by mentioning it's source, this does not mean we waive our wights of property or copyright.
    The user accepts and recognizes that partial or whole publishing, re producing or forwarding to third parties, all material and data provided to the user with intention to understand the contents of the digital platform CEREBRUM, is strictly prohibited and by any means this particular clause will bind the user and the Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs-I.R.T.E.A that the second part will use every legal aspect against the user. It is stated clear that the Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs-I.R.T.E.A with this current clause expresses that every legal penalty caused by the user at a third party will be addressed to the user. Including judicial fees or compensations.
  • The Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs-I.R.T.E.A is not responsible for the content or services of other websites whose hyperlinks or advertisements posted on  CEREBRUM, and is not liable for any damage caused by their usage. The user is solely responsible for the actions of his browsing despite the sites of visit .  
  • The above terms are in accordance with the Hellenic law, the guidelines of the European Union and the relevant international regulations.
BY ACCEPTING THE ABOVE TERMS OF USE THE USERS SOLELY DECLARE THEY ARE IN THE LEGAL AGE TO ACCEPT THESE TERMS,AND ARE PERMITTED TO USE THE SERVICES OF CEREBRUM FROM THE Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs-I.R.T.E.A
